BUILD YOUR ENGINE.
Develop aerobic endurance and learn to manage your effort through sustained work.
Stronger under load. Steadier on the run.
Discover what you’re capable of with HYROX training at WayMore.
The lift. The run. The ability to do it again.
HYROX brings running and functional strength into one challenge. Training for it means building the engine to keep moving and the strength to handle what comes next.
At WayMore, it starts with you. A new routine, a personal challenge, or a race on the horizon. Bring your starting point. Let’s build from there.
Develop aerobic endurance and learn to manage your effort through sustained work.
Practice pushing, pulling, carrying, and lunging. Strength you can put into motion.
Build confidence through small wins: smoother movement, steadier pacing, one more good rep.

It’s easy to understand the pull. A clear challenge gives your training direction. Doing the work with others gives it energy.
A consistent race format makes the challenge tangible. You know what you’re working toward.
Track your pace, your technique, and how the work feels. Your next benchmark is your own.
Train for yourself or share a race goal. HYROX offers individual, doubles, and relay formats.
The standard race alternates a 1 km run with a workout station, eight times. Get to know the sequence. Then train for the pieces.
A standing ski motion sets the tone. Settle into a rhythm you can sustain beyond the opening station.
Long, smooth pulls. Make your effort repeatable.
Drive the sled forward with steady leg power. This is where strength meets the ability to keep moving.
Practice position first. Build the load with your coach.
Move the sled toward you using the rope. Find a consistent rhythm between your hands, feet, and body.
Stay organized with the rope and controlled with each pull.
Combine a burpee with a forward jump. Patient, repeatable movement matters more than an explosive first few reps.
Choose a pace you can keep, then keep it.
Take a seat, find your stroke, and keep your effort measured as the second half of the race begins.
Let a strong leg drive lead a smooth stroke.
Walk with a kettlebell in each hand. A simple movement becomes a powerful test of grip, posture, and composure.
Stand tall and keep your steps steady.
Lunge forward with a sandbag across your shoulders. Keep each step controlled as your legs do the work.
Practice control before adding distance or load.
Squat, stand, and send the ball to the target. The final station brings your legs, arms, and rhythm together.
Find manageable sets and make each repetition count.

Make training part of your week, with a neighborhood community that gives the effort a little more meaning.
A training session can focus on one skill or bring several together. Ask the team what your next session will involve.
You don’t need the same goal as the person next to you.

Talk to WayMore: (845) 232-0084No. You can train for the strength, conditioning, and sense of progress alone. A finish line can be a great goal, but it is entirely your choice.
Start with a conversation about your experience and current activity. The WayMore team can help you choose an appropriate session and discuss adjustments to pace, distance, and load.
The 8 km is the total running distance in a full standard HYROX race. It is not a requirement for your first training session. Ask the team how to build toward the work at your current level.
HYROX preparation can include separate strength work, running, station technique, and sessions that combine them. A full simulation is only one possible part of preparation. Ask the team what is planned for your session.
The live WayMore schedule and Arketa booking system show current sessions, availability, and pricing. If you do not see a HYROX option, contact the team for the next available starting point.
Wear comfortable training clothes and supportive training shoes, and bring water. Tell the team it is your first visit and ask about arrival time and any session-specific equipment before you come in.
Your first session starts with a conversation.
